What pedal combos have worked for you? What has yielded the ultimate or near ultimate in gain tone for you?

My Ultimate Gain/Drive Pedal Stack has been...
Lovekraft Mojo Drive (middle setting) into Emma Reeza (Strat)
Lovekraft Mojo Drive (middle setting) into Emma Reeza through MXR-108 10-band EQ in the Loop (also amazing with a Strat)

I also understand Emma Reeza likes Fuzz pedals? But WHICH Fuzz pedals?

Other Stacks TGPosters Have Mentioned As Being Righteous...
    Timmy into a Landgraff M’OD
Hermida Zen Drive into an MJM Blues Devil

And that's all I know of so far!

This can be Boost into OD, Fuzz into Boost...whatever. I've also learned that Timmy's can be effective at the end of a chain.

    OCD into a Sparkle Drive.

That's my current set up, and so far the best I've used. It's basically my step-up from a Rat2 and a tubescreamer, another combo which never sounds bad.

    anything>Tim

The ones I use a lot are Zen>Tim, Zen>KOT, KOT>Tim, TS9>Tim. Fuzzes>Tim is good. I have yet to stack my ts9 with the KOT, but I'm assuming it could be dialed in to be pretty sweet.

KOT into a Zen2 is pretty cool. I also like an AC Booster into a Menatone Blue Collar.

    For Smooth Mid-heavy leads:

Stock TS808 --> BJFe DRD / BYOC Shredder (pretty much anything high gain)

    For Fat leads:
Timmy --> BJFe DRD / High Gain stuff

So far putting a Timmy or TS808 in front of other overdrives has given great results.

ok, I've just been experimenting with the ts9/silver>kot. It made me realize how much I really like my kot. They stack well, but I think I like my kot>tim better. I'm going to throw the zen with the kot and I'll chime back in soon. Keep in mind, I'm at extreme bedroom levels here. my amp (drri) is barely past 1. I do remember liking my ts9 a lot more when the amp is cranked past 3 (well, obviously). Too bad i can't do a test with the amp completely cranked.

byoc ultimate fuzz>KOT - not so good. it cuts off the high-end of the fuzz. The only pedal I've found to work well with this fuzz is the Tim, it added sustain without changing the tone too much, like every other pedal I've tried with it. I haven't messed with the bias too much on the fuzz, it's at about half way. The zen is going in next, both before and after the KOT.

    Bjf EGDM>Bjf HBOD>Klon

Klon always on , HBOD for low gain/chording,
EGDM for medium gain (w/ or w/o HBOD).

COT50>Eternity and for a wicked lead tone, Mayo>HoneyBee also as a side note, a gaspedals Carb stacked nice with about anything I put after to produce some sort of usable, more sparkle type, tone.

I think I might like the KOT>Zen as opposed to the Zen>KOT better. It keeps the bloom of the Zen, but loses a little bit of the warmth of the KOT. This might take a while.

Mine changes constantly depending on how much dirt's on my board.
    Currently it's:
    CMATMODS Signa Drive
    G2D Morpheus
    Skreddy Screwdriver
    Barber LTD black
    SCOD

    Favorite combos so far are:

    Signa into LTD
    G2D into LTD
    Signa into Screwdriver
    Screwdriver into LTD

I like the LTD as a solo boost for other dirt.

My Mojo Drive is on it's way back to me repaired, and I might be picking up an Axis Fuzz Face+ soon, so I'll have to rethink combinations.

To me, that's half the addiction right there, the endless tonal variations possible when combining dirt flavors.

I really like the Lovekraft Mojo Drive > Keeley Rat combo.

I picked up an Addrock NSOY from FLYING V 83 a couple of weeks ago, but have been working out of town and haven't had much playing time with it. I love it on it's own, so I'm hoping it will stack well with the others. I'll find out when I get home this weekend.:AOK

I didn't even bring my Tim downstairs, because I already know it makes everything sound great when it comes afterwards. I'm still trying to dial the others in. I'll probably end up switching out the ts9/silver and zendrive for a while.

I also have good luck running lower gain into my Reeza. Right now I am running a Diamond J-Drive mk 3.
