Tonight on a gig I noticed that the cap or tip of the switch on one of my pedals was missing. It made it much hard to engage on/off and in over 35 years of using these common types of switches, I've never had a cap disappear from the top of the switch plunger before.

I didn't have a chance to closely inspect before the board was packed up and now it's in a truck off to another gig. Does anyone know if the caps on standard dpdt switches can be replaced or am I going to have to replace the entire switch?

The pedal is only a couple of months old so yes there is a warranty, but I'm also trying to avoid downtime by sending it back to the manufacturer or the hassle of soldering a new switch in.
