Pedalboard Bypass Loopers

What's the TGP popular opinion on best pedal bypass loopers? I'd like ten loops. I have a lot of vintage pedals that I don't want to modify. I am surprised that I don't see these more on people's boards. MIDI would be nice but complete transparency would be my main concern.

Road Rage Pro gear makes an excellent looper setup. I picked one up for a friend recently and he loves it! I don't use them myself because I have only a very small board with all true bypass pedals. If I did have more vintage stuff, I would definitely get one of these units!

I just got a 6-loop strip from Loop-Master (who is on this site). I already had a mini tap tempo from him. Good work, all hand-made and fully customizable.

Besides, if it's good enough for Tim Mahoney (of 311), it's good enough for me!

I don't think I'd go passive with that many loops.

Let me ask this: if I get a ten looper but only plan on having 3-4 pedals on at a time, is a buffer still necessary? My main concern is passing the tone as accurately as possible when everything is OUT of the loop.
