    Wanye Krantz shared this pic this morning on the book of faces. pretty cool to see no pedalboard, personally I've gotten sick of mine and ditched it about 6 months ago. anyone know from seeing him why he switched it up?

    He talked about it on his rig rundown. To summarize, he said he got a board made but was tired of paying to ship it off and get it fixed. He likes to keep a bunch of pedals in a bag for transport and just takes them out at the gig. If something goes bad he just reaches into the bag and grabs another pedal.

    His pedals look a lot cleaner than my board... haha. I couldn't figure out how to secure the pedal power under the board, so it's on top of it... the wires look messy on mine.

    I dig Krantz, his book especially.

    But that looks like a mess and a headache to me. A functional PB that allows for quickly mixing and matching different pedals on the fly is where it's at IMO.

    pretty damned neat, there.

    here was my actual "pedalboard", sometime around 2005.

    completely coincidentally, wayne was @ the bar, directly in front of me.

    i believe he scoffed @ my absolute wantonness, and rightfully so, imo;
    ha!

    He had a nice vertex board built and some one at an airline company completely disassembled it in inspection. I had to watch the rundown twice to catch that. I love that Suhr.
