MXR Carbon Copy has ended my search for a warm analog delay.

MJM Blues Devil ended my serach for the perfect TS type pedal.

Skreddy Screwdriver ended my search for a Led Zep in a box pedal.

Fuzz--> I love all my fuzzes, and they cover various applications, but I'm not averse to checking out more, so I'm reluctant to say the search has "ended"--more accurate to say the search is in no way pressing.
