I’ve had a M.I. Audio Blues Pro and a Boss/Keeley SEM DS-1 on my board for over ten years. I’ve tried to replace them with more expensive boutique units but I always come back to those two.

If I had to name just a couple, I guess it would be the Super Nova Drive and the Disaster Transport SR

Boss DD7. Doesn’t matter how many delays I buy, how many times it’s taken a time-out in storage, it always seems make its way back on a board for some project or other eventually.

Wampler Euphoria hasn't left my board since I got it a year ago. And my Prince of Tone always seems to find it's way back as well.

The Strymon El Capistan comes to mind. I sold it when I switched to a timeline, but after a year or so with the timeline I realised that the tape sounds were by far my favorite, and that I prefer turning knobs to programming presets, even during a gig.

Any time I use another delay, I just find myself wishing it sounded like the El Cap and was as easy to dial in.

I've come to the conclusion that the El Cap is just a pedal I really like, and really know how to use. I feel no real need to explore alternatives, although I'd be curious to try the Volante.

Mooer Blues Crab is always around somewhere. Same with the Plexitone; Ive been playing different iterations of it since 2011. Same with Xotic SP Comp, Ive had it since it came out and sometimes it's on the board, sometimes not.

The Crowther Hotcake, KoT and Timmy for me.

Whenever I think I’m ready to move on, I’m always not. Just something about those pedals that remind me of the days when the world was less connected (slower internet) and everything seemed a lot more intimate with pedal builders.

Nostalgia - my life seems to always remember the past with rose coloured filters

I’m on my fourth Basic Audio Scarab Deluxe. Each time I get one back I remember why I love it.

Also on my second Strymon El Capistan. Went through a period where I tried other things, now it’s been back for awhile. Perfect combination of features/ease of use/sound for me.

I keep coming back to a Rat too. I never sold it, it just goes through resting periods.

Ibanez TS808. I got it about 5 years ago, it broke countless times, but I've always repaired it, because it's just such a simple yet great sounding boost with a blackface amp.

That's a simple, cheap, great pedal. I have A/B'd it long term against both a Prince of Tone and a Wampler Pantheon, and prefer it among those three. Only downside is a smidge more white noise at the highest settings.

If you possess basic google skills, you can find it through Walmart online for $40 shipped- 1/4 the price of a POT, and 1/5 the price of a Pantheon.

Same story here, nothing has dethroned it. I'm in the honeymoon stage with something right now, but that has happened before.
