Peppermint Fuzz at super high volumes?

Does the peppermint fuzz stay gated and not feedback at super high volumes?
I'm running a Hiwatt Custom 100 full out, it's just a little broken up and a little more if you play hard...

just how gated does it get??

HI,

The volume will not change the character of the gating except you will get more sustain through the air. But once it gates, the sustain should die.

You really control the gating between the buzz knob (external bias) and the internal bias trim pot. You can make it gate hard if you want, and turning your guitar's volume knob down will make it gate even more.
