Who has compared the regular Analogman peppermint fuzz against the dark peppermint fuzz? Are they vastly different or subtly so? Which did you prefer?

Wow, no one has compared the 2? And with all the fuzz addicts around here too...

I prefer the DARK. I've had both, sold the regular and kept the DARK. there isn't really much of a difference when you have the fuzz maxed, except when you turn your guitar's volume down. you know how a fuzz gets sparkly clean when you dial the volume down? the DARK pep fuzz cleans up ok, but doesn't sparkle. very unique tones. i love mine. permanent place on my board. great for black keys and ripped speaker sounding stuff.
