I think it's part sugar and part stevia if I remember correctly. We don't have Coke Life here but I was out of town two weekends ago and bought one at a convenience store....haven't tried it yet.

Diet Pepsi is the least offensive of the diet soft drinks. However I've been drinking Stevia for a while now in Zevia. Even baking with it.

You guys are just begging for trouble. Just wait for the "independent peer reviewed studied" and "cdc says" guys to chime in. Corporate dollars scratch a lot of backs. Remember that whole "corn sugar" idea... Chuckle. Don't forget "science" or the "fda" crews either.

Like any thing else it's about moderation ; don't drink it 24/7 !!.
If only because of the phosphoric acid (that they put in it because real citrus juice is sooo costly !) They are trying to make $$$$ :stir

You could eat and drink the most natural and wholesome stuff that ever existed in the history of the planet and still make yourself sick if you don't do it in moderation .....

I don't have any scientific knowledge to back this up.. but my wife used to drink diet Pepsi all the time.. at least a can a day. She would also get crazy migraines. Migraines so bad it would make her throw up and make her act not like herself.

She gave up diet Pepsi one day.... didn't change anything else in her life.. and migraines go away... completely. She still has a pop every once and a while.. but not a diet pop.

I'm convinced that the stuff in diet pop is terrible for you and should not be consumed.

Let's just cut to the chase. "Did you guys know that water is poisonous in large quantities-everything is dose related".

You realize that from a purley scientific point of view an anecdotal sample size of one does not make a correlation let alone a cause . Everyone has a different bio chemical profile ; it's a world of individuals .....( glad she's feeling better and you guys are saving money to boot !!)

    P.S.
I quit drinking any kind of sodas a few years back ... :)

I did say it wasn't very scientific... but I doubt this is an isolated case. I've heard the same story from a lot of people.

Exactly what I was going to post. My gut does not like Splenda / sucralose.

I won't be surprised if we find out in a few years that sucralose is worse than all of the artificial sweeteners. Sucralose seems to be an ingredient in everything now - it's everywhere?!!

She still drinks pop with caffeine with no problems. The initial drinking actually helped her migraines and later in the day it would get worse. She drank so much diet Pepsi because it did help her migraines.. or so she thought.
