Narcissism. It's a complete deal-breaker for me. I'm talking about self-love of the "I'm-a-peacock-look-at-me-I-can-do-no-wrong-I'm-pushing-you-off-the-boat-if-food-gets-slightly-scarce" order. I've known a few people like this and find them absolutely, intolerably toxic.

What personality traits affect you like nails on a blackboard?

Know-it-alls and polarized political folks. I'm a perfectionist by design.

A sense of unjustified entitlement is particularly galling. Worse for me is anyone that is convinced he knows what's best for others. Whatever that trait is called, I have no time for it, regardless of intentions.

Self-righteous bloviators, political ranters, and "I'm in charge" type As are at the top of my short list.

Worked for a sociopath a few years back. It was a very miserable couple of years and we lost a lot of good workers. That was the lowest point of my career so far.

Is being a sociopath a characteristic trait or is it a mental disorder? In that case I want too change my answer to serial killer.
Serial killers rub me the wrong way. So do child abusers.
Is comparing a mental disorder to a personality trait, like entitlement or self-riteous bloviators the same thing?
