Yes, of course. I just hate that style of playing, and i don't even think it was a good demonstration. Just my opinion though.

Umm... It is called personal preference. Yes, i thought it was horrible. Technically brilliant, but i couldn't care less about that. It sounded like rubbish to my ears. Just because i don't like a style of playing doesn't mean i consider myself a superior. If i were to make a demo, no it wouldn't be better, it would be different.

"That style"

Funny, I heard three styles touched on...
So, if you don't like cool cleans, hot rock riffing, or dirtyish ethereal echos,
what gets your delay going?

Great demo and playing.
Just my opinion...

Beautiful sound, great demo. I think El Capistan clips within proper songs will help it much more than the clips all by itself.

Haha. This is ridiculous. You guys need to calm down. My opinion means nothing and you're all so defensive.

I'm curious though, in terms of the Capistan, what didn't you like? Maybe you're not really into tape-ish sounds much? Could that be? I don't own an El Cappy, but I thought the demo, in terms of sounds, was excellent.

Oh, sorry, i meant the playing. The Capistan is a beautiful sounding delay. I have BTBAM helping me get one for myself. The style/s of music played by Mr Thorn are not what i enjoy listening to. I'm by no means suggesting he is ****. To me it was a dissapointing demo because i found it really uninspiring and a let down on the pedal. But this is my opinion, and i don't see why having this opinion means i should post a video of how i would do a demo (what others keep suggesting). I don't need to prove anything. I agree though that demoing the pedal in a song context is good and refreshing to hear, but the playing did nothing for me and i found it dissapointing.

But hey, when i do receive my El Cap, perhaps i will post a demo.

Okay, I see. That clears it up. I do get why everyone is ticked, though, and deep down you do as well. It's just common courtesy not to bash someone. I thought the demo was pretty varied in terms of style. I'm not sure what you play though?

That's true. But all i did say in the beginning was i found it dissapointing. I don't think i've been particularly bashing, except saying i thought it sounded horrible. At least i complimented him saying it's technically brilliant. My opinion is subjective, and i don't think i've been rude.

In terms of what i play, i would probably say post-rock-spaghetti western. Or at least my attempt/interpretation of that.
