Anybody know details on that cool blue Firebird VII that Peter Stroud played with Sheryl Crow? Is it a Custom Shop guitar in Pelham Blue, or a "production" FVII in that cool "blue mist" color Gibson had for awhile?

His guitar was the stock Firebird VII in Blue Mist, or whatever it was called, if I recall.

Isn't Blue Mist lighter than the pictures?

They made 2 colors during the same time period, the metallic blue color and copper metallic. I used to own the copper one which looked cool as hell but they weren't built like the transparent VII models with the 7 piece necks. My neck never stayed stable and was always being adjusted. I sold it to a guy in Cali which has a much better climate then Jersey and got a regular VII in chery. Never had a problem with the new one.

Either way I love that blue color and I do miss the copper one I had but playability was more important then a pretty face.
