Peter is just awesome and he makes the POG, Memory Man, Worm and Wiggler sound amazing as does the Frequency Analyzer. Makes me wanna go out and get a Wiggler right away.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I saw it on the counter a few months back. As I said to George's boy, Peter used to work there, and apparently he still does! I bought tons of gear from Peter and Jim Bowcock going back to 1985.

    wow,

this is just what EH needs, cause everyone knows they make cool pedals, but no one really know how they really sound. :p

What's up with Jim, any idea? Last I heard, he'd gotten out of music and playing entirely. That guy really should do stand up comedy. Truly one of the funniest, most irreverent guys I've ever known. George used to have to shut us down, as our, ehhh, reparte' seemed to impair sales on the floor!

Man, I can't say how happy I am to see that Peter has achieved such success, as he really deserves it. He's a very intelligent player, like Mike Campbell, Davey Johnstone, and Johnny Marr. His parts and textures are dead on, textbook perfect. To this day, I've still not heard anyone ape pedal steel parts on a six string electric guitar better than Peter Stroud. Man, what a musician. The last time I heard him play was at Midtown Music... he was playing a little single P-90 SG Jr., and was auditioning a variety of low wattage amps... sounded like a million bucks, of course.

I saw Peter with Ms. Crow on PBS Soundstage in HD. Could not see what amps he was using. The only backline on the stage was a bunch of Kustom cabinets. No heads to be seen. Could not see his pedalboard either. Played lots of different guitars during set.

The English Muff'n sounds good too with Peter playing it.

Anyone know why Peter doesn't play on the new Crow CD? Wildflower?
I bought it a few weeks ago thinking peter would be on it and he's not on a
single track. BTW the album is weak IMHO. I think a few of her records are great (globe sessions is a masterpiece) But this one feels like there's no spark on this new one, kinda going through the motions. Missing peter for sure... hum???

Actually, Peter is a member at this forum. PStroud is his username. He emailed me a few weeks back after I sent him a P.M. He is using an old 4 input Marshall, an Ampeg V-22 head and one of his 65 Amps London Heads plus a Bradshaw rack with Line 6 Echo, FIlter and Mod pros, Experience pedal, Force OD, Dyna Comp, E-H Black Finger Comp and Tube Zipper, modded Vox wah, EB Volume Pedal and Boss NS-2 gate. Go to the 55 amps site and into pictures for a pic of Peter with his rack and amp heads plus a way cool 50's single cut Junior.

At that time, Peter was using Savage amps with the Kustom cabs. The amps were always behind the cabs. He also used THD Hotplates with the amps.

"Yeah" "Great" (you'll have to imagine the voice)

Jim is working at a music store out in Suwanee off L'ville-Suwanee Road, can't remember the name. He lives way north of town so I think its a better commute for him...

That's good to know. I know of that store, and it's not too far from me. I'll have to stop in there soon. I always found Jim to be very entertaining.
