Last clip I posted a clip of this amp/speaker combination the speaker wasn't broken in (at all), tone was kinda harsh.

This time the Celestion Blue speaker has been used on a lot of gigs and is broken in.
I was going to solo over it...but bed time arrived so it's just quick a rhythm clip.

This is a style that I'm not that familiar with or fond of, but I gotta say, you totally rocked it. What a great feel you have. Amp sounded good too!

It has less to do with what exact settings he used than about what speaker he used (since I could guess his settings are pretty much "down the middle" in most regards). This is another one of those "night and day difference" sort of things; the Alnico Blue is just that different a speaker.

Thank you...lydian stuff (add 11 chords) can have that Zeppelinesque vibe to it.

Like James said, pretty neutral as far as EQ settings (everything was near 12:00, except I rolled back the mids a bit). The blue speaker adds a lot of it's voicing to things...and not having a lot of gain dialed in keeps it clear.

Excellent playing and tones. James makes a toneful amp and you compliment it very well!

Thanks Mike...feels just great in the room, I hope I captured it well. Has that icky gooey feel with mid gain. ;)

great dirty clean sound...sounds a little like Ty Tabor's tone - at least that's what I thought I heard... :D

Is the one guitar track? or one cleaner type sound and then a dirty track along with it? either way, I'm digging it man.

Actually, this tone reminds me very much of a Satrian tune called Time machine. Very cool!

Cool thanks...Ty Tabor has a great tone, mid gain and very clear.

It's just the same dirty tone double tracked and panned hard left and right.
