what is your personal favorite, and why is that?

I'm very big on phase, the one i liked the most was my Moog MF103 6/12, but the problem was that it gave me some weird noise, so i sold it off.

While i do like the phasers in my M9, they just arent quite doing it for me like that Moog was. any suggestions!?

....there is a maestro ps1 locally that i may try out soon

I am a huge phaser (vibe) guy... I have tried many, and my favorite so far is the Red Witch Deluxe as it gives SO many options, and all useable.... Another worth looking into is the Tortuga Standard Issue Phaser. It gives you the ability to have 2 different phasers set, and switch between them with the double footswitches..

Also, contact member Ben C. He has tried most of them and is super helpful with recommending phasers based on what you are looking for soundwise..

Good luck

I have the MXR '74 handwired Phase 90 with true-bypass mod. I love this pedal. Sounds so good at all ranges. Very flexiable Phaser. Sounds great in front of my drive pedals. I can really get a Robin Trower thing going with the control set at about 1:00.

This is my frist Phaser and my GAS has ended, no need to look any further

I have a Red Witch Moon Phaser which I love. It doesn't do much of the 'swooshy' thing - it's very subtle...this is what I like about it. It can add a sort of shimmer and does do a throbby sound too. With my DMM I can get some lovely chimey sounds. It has phaser and tremophase settings - I prefer the tremophase settings. It also has a tremolo setting, but I can't really get anything out of that one.

EHX Small Stone (US and Russian)
EHX Worm
HBE Psilocybe
Fulltone Mini Deja Vibe and 2
MXR Phase 45

These are the ones that I own and the Russian Small Stone is my fav.

I want to try out the Moog and Diamond phasers.

EQD-Grand Orbiter... killer for the money. Can do all kinds of crazy spinning. Jet Phase to Univibe and everything in between.:dude

Retro-Sonic phaser. It nails the old 'Beast of Burden', Floyd's 'Time', 'Lost in the Supermarket' phase tones. But it's true-bypass and super quiet. A great pedal.

I've had an old Ross phaser that I've really enjoyed, kind of a moderate level of phase.

I like me some Nebula for lighter phase.

Never tried the Red Witch, but it sounds like I would like it. I like that light phase where it's unclear whether you're using a phaser or you're on drugs/mentally ill.

OMg.
I love a good old "lumpy" phase.
The pinnacle of the phase vibe for me is when Gilmour has his rate set low on Animals and DSotM and you can just hear the hills of phase.
The best one I had was the old DOD Phasor.
Second fav is the old MXR script Phase.
And oddly enough the Line 6 model of an MXR on my Flex III can be tweaked to come awfully close too the real deal imo.

The Red Witch is great.
I had a TC Electronic phaser which I really liked but the Red Witch moved it off the board.
There's a Toneczar Halophaze in the mail. Great way to start the new year.

Do you like subtle phase, or thick and chewy? If the latter, I'd try EH Small Stone or Boss PH1 or PH2. Cheap too
