    Uhhhhh,

So, uhhh, John? ...by the end of the jam, is the, like, crowd huddling under the bar tables in fear hoping you are not going to storm them and beat them to death with your guitar? Jeez-'n RICE! What a massively cool jam! Who are the players with you on that one?

Me: "A-h-h-h don't hurt me, don't hurt me."

    Boss: "Take those headphones off."

I always look forward to your clips John... you're such a killer player... tone and technique... there is an edge in your playing... something aggressive that just does it for me... awesome.

P.S What were you using for a phaser!?

    thanx very much TK.
it's always a pleasure playing with the folks i've been fortunate enough to jam with over the years.
in this sort of "format", they are the inspiration.
i always try to be aggressive in my playing, whether the notes work or not:worried
    .....life's short, play hard!

the phaser is an old mxr phase 90, i usually only use it while comping cleaner things,
but every once in a while i forget to turn it off when i get a solo spot,
and i end up kinda liking the results while i'm jamming.
it definitely "churns' the notes in a fun oldschool 'snakey' way i think.
i try to play "in rhythm" with the effects a lot of times, while i'm soloing epsecially.

    choice!

John, I always look forward to listening to your clips, you're one of my fave players on this board.

This one seriously kicks ass. I love the tone and the nice touch of delay!

    Killer chops and phrasing dude!

thanx very much bluepowder....i really appreciate it.
it's always fun to share the noise!
glad you liked the tone(straight up bogner uberschall gain channel) and the delay too....
i've been very attached to my lexicon pcm-42s for a very long time.
i definitely try to work off of them quite a bit, especially when soloing...attempting to phrase "around" the echos.

    and thanx again subD.
it's a blast every week...not only to jam, but to hear all of the other folks that show up and sit in.

    choice!
