First I would like to say this guy is INCREDIBLE! I saw him about 7yrs ago but was super far away from the stage and it was PACKED so I couldn't really see much. Yesterday, I got there early and stayed close to the stage (ears are still ringing) What an amazing guitar player and performer. So generous and a cool cat!
Back on topic...since I got there early and was able to snap a shot of his board.

Thanks so much for the pictures! Does anyone know what kind of cables those are connecting the pedals?

Those of you on Facebook, I'd strongly suggest following Phil's fan page on there.

He routinely posts on it, and has posted photos of his board as well as hand sketched WIRING DIAGRAMS from time to time, showing his signal chain. I guess he know he has a lot of guitar geeks following him, as the tour shot are also interspersed with gear shots and pics of his guitars get work done on them etc.

He also routinely answers questions from his fans on there too.

Have a feeling the EP3 is just too much to deal with live and touring. Nothing sounds like them but lots of pedals get close!

The Square Face is a great Fuzz. I've had two. First one was the best. Regret selling it. Big and wholly, but with nice cleanup.

edit... cables look like George L's.

Ask and you shall receive. It's a flipped pic so it looks weird. I didn't take it the credit goes to the name who is now upside down on the pic, lol!

Forgive my ignorance here. What's the pedal under the Klon? Looks like a TS808 in a painted box?

I've never, ever seen him tour the midwest- if he has, its not been widely promoted. Evidently he seems to only tour in California, Canada and Europe from time to time.
