Picked up a '62 Airline Res-O-Glas Jetson today....cool, in an ugly way.

I purchased my '62 Fender Deluxe a few weeks ago from a local guy who ended up being very cool, and when I was there he showed me an original '62 Airline Res-O-Glas "Jetsons" model he was pondering selling. Well, today I ended up trading him some non guitar stuff for the Airline. Its completely original and in really nice shape. Even has the original serial number sticker on it and Kluson Deluxes. Sound wise....its.....different. Since the body is fiberglass and rubber, its definitely got a tone all to itself.

Its the same one as Jack White was playing for awhile.

Ugly, but interesting to say the least.

Very, very cool. Congrats! They've certainly got their own thing going on.

Its different for sure, but it actually sounds really cool thru my little Champ. Maybe not a #1 guitar, but something that could be used for a few tunes here and there.

Very cool - you should see if Jack White wants to buy it! I bet he probably wouldn't mind having a few backups.

It has the 'gumby' headstock!

Love it.

I had a '62 National reso-glas that I ebayed a few years back.

Kind of regret it now.
