It would be a tragedy against the universe for that guitar to never be played again after your death. While it’s a given you will perish, hopefully that guitar will live on and bring pleasure for many generations.

I didn’t realize how close in size these are to a 339 until I saw them side by side in person yesterday. Want.

Boyce...just installed Throbaks in my I-35 Deluxe to great effect versus the Lollar low winds.

They are definitely bigger that the 339/336/356's, those are too small IMO. They end up sounding more like solidbodies or chambered solidbodies. The I-35's are just right.

Do they do a I35LC with block inlays instead of dots?

Cool video featuring the master craftsman, an American treasure and a person who will live on with each instrument that carries his name:

Here's a pic of "Sonny," the day she arrived! I-35lc with Throwbacks and tapering inlays. I'm still completely smitten with her :)

Have the Throbaks in my I35 Deluxe, great pups and they really marry well to the I35...

Here’s my ‘new’ (to me) I-35LC. Born on Oct 21, 2011. Can’t say I’ve ever played a better feeling 335 style... ever. Someone loaded Thornbuckers in it, which are very ‘airy’ and natural feeling . Still might eventually go the Throbak route, but for now am extremely happy.
