I always see people put up pics of their number 1 guitar but how about your top 3 that you use. These are the guitars that are always in my main rotation.

Number one is the tele. The others are both a ton of fun to play, too.

Partscaster, #2 (it will be a HH guitar by next weekend, I'm just waiting on wire to wind the neck pickup)

I don't own a third electric guitar. I guess the acoustic is #3 by default, but it's far from being one of my main/most used guitars.

Hmm, kind of a tough call actually!

#1 is my Gibson CR8. I've had it for about a decade now and it's always been my #1, and it's been to almost every show I've ever played. Wolfetone Dr. Vintage pickups and lots of small mods. It's going to be undergoing some very extreme surgery soon.

#2 is a partscaster, the "Friendo Telecopy". MJT body, Musikraft solid rosewood neck (with a painted headstock to kind of help disguise it at a glance), mostly mid-60's transitional era features. I've had it for a couple years now, and I actually play it more than the Les Paul, but it just doesn't have the history behind it to displace the LP as my #1.

#3 is tougher since I'm not really attached to my other guitars the way I am to the top two, but I guess I'll go with the '62 CS relic. It's gorgeous, light, clear as a bell, and it's the most effortless guitar to play, but it's not as versatile as the top two and I don't reach for it as much. I've often thought about selling down to just the LP and tele since they dominate 95% of my play time.

#1-2) PRS 594 Wood Library w/solid IRW neck and satin nitro body finish - This is the guitar I've played the most. I got it in October of 2017 and it gets the most play time. If I had to go down to one guitar this is the one I'd choose right now. I've played a lot of PRSes and even the awesome private stocks I've played, none sound or feel any better than this one.

Gibson Custom 1959 60th Anniversary Reissue - Got this only a couple months ago and honestly didn't expect it to compete for the #1 slot but it really does. If I went down to 2 guitars I think I'd probably choose this and the Strat. Since I got it, it's been getting the most play time. As soon as I took it out of the case and put my hand on the neck I was like "Holy poop this is home." It sounds every bit like I want a Les Paul to sound.

#3) Fender Custom 1964 Time Machine Stratocaster Journeyman Relic - Short scale, fixed bridge, dual hum bucker is my happy place. But I do love Strats too, and this is mine. Absolutely love it. Like the LP, this sounds every bit like I want a Strat to sound. It feels and plays great too.

No Junior?! I mean, I would be hard pressed to say any of those couldn't be No. 1, but...but...NO JUNIOR?!

The LP in the center is my main, the "junior" & "special" are usually my 2nd on any given gig. The tele is a monster that I just don't take out enough. Gotta change that. The black guitars haven't seen action in 2 years. I love 'em, but they're just not my thing.

Man, my beloved ‘59...my all time number 1. In the past few years it’s been my designated Eb guitar. Maybe 3-5 songs a night, never my only guitar. For a long time it was the only guitar I’d take to gigs.

The sunburst and custom get used the most. If I only take one guitar it’s one of those. The tele and junior get used every night at my regular gig. Flanked by either the sunburst or the custom.

This is a more typical, every night scenario.

    No.

I have 4 electrics. In the off chance that guitars have feelings, I just can't risk this exercise.
