Pignose 7-100R-- What is "R"?

    Anyone?

    I see that most of these amps are 7-100 but some are 7-100R. Whats the difference?

    Thanks for the replies so far! I emailed Pignose but they're "on vacation" til the 12th so lets keep the ideas comin! As far as reverb, I don't think the 7-100 was ever equipped with it... Reissue? Maybe, but there's evidence of vintage models sporting the "R" as well.

    My response from Pignose was "It denotes when the current owners purchased Pignose in 1985". Do not confuse yourself to thinking that your model "R" was produced in 1985, though, because the first two numbers of the serial indicate the year in which it was made. I guess I'm not too sure what it all means as I believe there are currently "non-R" models being produced.

    Anyway, it saves some guessing.
