I am really enjoying by OXfuzz Silicon. However, I was curious if I could make it more linear in its response. For instance, when I kick on my Fulltone Vibe (placed before the fuzz), I can achieve a more linear response when using the guitars volume knob. The more abrupt volume/fuzz jump associated with a fuzz face pedal becomes more manageable. I was thinking that a good/quiet eq pedal such as the Fromel eq might be able to do the same thing? I really am not interested in changing any bit of the tone. Just the response.

yeah graphic eq or a parametric eq in front of the fuzz will help. The 'holy grail' recipe is for a parametric in front and a graphic behind.

Thanks for the reply. I might try to find a Fromel eq and give it a go. Hoping to avoid any excessive noise.
