    Hi Folks...

    I've been having a blast this last week making some short vid clips with my old Cannon A70.

    My last tele clip , "The Street Beater", was mostly rhythm, so I made this one more lead oriented:

    http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5870580749612687472

    the gear:

    GVCG '53 blackguard
    Fred Stuart blackguard pickups

    ->COT50 red (at min setting)
    ->Vavleboy od
    ->t.c. dual parametric eq
    ->Mazon AD-900 delay
    (all of the pedal were left on throughout the whole clip, any tone or volume changes were made on the guitars controls)

    Fender, Princeton reverb (on 2, this was recorded in my apartment so I gotta keep it down for my wacky "cat lady" neighbor:NUTS)

    Thanks, for checking it out. -John.

    Nice bitey tone you got there. I like the dissonant stuff you had going on. A few nice flurries. And that camera does a great job, nice crisp view.

    That's how a Tele should sound.

    Btw, what's a GVCG?

    damn......great tone and playing....nice note and chord choices...

    What are you using the COT, OD AND EQ for? The COT just as a boost into the OD? and then the EQ set to???

    ..tasty!

    Thanks for checking it out. :)

    GVCG = Greenwich Village Custom Guitars, (hit the search button, there's lots of info here on them)

    I'm using the COT50 at it's lowest setting as a gain/character boost. The Valveboy gives me my base tone, nice and glassy, but not too compressed. Finally the t.c. parametric eq lets me tailor the mids a bit more, post gain.

    Great job! Cool little rig there. Those OD pedals sound great the way you have them set up.

    Right on, John!
