I am about to install the trim pot mod on my 5150. I have a simpson 260 (I know, I know. But I dont have anything else at the moment, and I can get close.) I am also about to build a test socket that will allow safe readings of plate current directly on the meter.
So although I do plan on looking in my RCA tube manual, I was still wondering what all the specs are on the amp.
Does anybody know what plate voltages the amp runs at normally?
Is there any good sweet spot for the plate current?
Any other comments on this?
BTW its the stock original tubes in the amp. Only thing done to it so far is swap out the stupid fuse holder for a screw cap type.
Thanks for any help.
