    RSA23c (Vintage 30)
    RSA31c (G12H30)
    JRT?? (Greenback)

They all sounded great and could be dialed in to sound very similar. The RSA31 was much darker than I would have imagined and the RSA23 had the most gain on tap (of course).

But I honestly feel these amps are overpowered for 1x2 combos. Had to back down all EQ's to keep it from being overly woofy and bass heavy. I think a head and 2x12 would be just perfect.

Still, nothing grabbed me to make any changes to my current setup. You never know when you're gonna plug into that next magic combination ya know.

Really? I recently played a JRT and could not get a good sound out of it. Clean channel was okay but sterile and the gain was pure mud. spent a half hour with it and gave up.

    +1

I pretty much came this conclusion without even playing one. There is just so much sound coming out of the D13s to be all pushed through a little 1x12 combo. At least the 30-watt range models. The D13 low-end is just massive as well.

I would stick to the head and 2x12 cab setups.

On something like the JRT 9/15, I would go as small as a head and 1x12 cab, but not a combo.
