Played a Rivera Venus 3 today...

    Man, I liked that little amp a lot, but why oh why did they not make the boost footswitchable? If they'd done that, I'd probably have it at home right now...

    how are the cleans? and is it load enough to gig with? country jazz slight rock?

    Yeah...It's loud enough on Modern mode (full power)...sounds really, really nice...

    I'm looking at the September '08 GP review of the amp right now. I agree with you, it seems like it should have been a no-brainer. What could it have added to the amp's cost, $35-50? :confused:

    The boost isn't footswitchable?? wow.....that would be such a plus

    i talked to them on the phone today. they said the 12" speaker just makes the amp so much better. the guy recommended trying one with the 12".

    a store in lexington kentucky had a used one already, but apparently it sold when i asked about it. web site says otherwise. i think something fishy is going on? just too convenient.

    talked to Paul Jr. just a second ago, can't make that footswitchable...phenomenal amp though

    it's not meant to be a high gain amp...meant to be a bluesy amp...

    If it has to be footswitchable, get a Clubster 25 Doce.
