    Les Paul/humbuckers use 500k

    Alpha makes both. Those should be 500k, since that's what works best with humbuckers, and 500k is what Epi uses stock

    Yep...if this guitar follows convention, those are Alpha pots, 500k.

    All those later Epiphone guitars have Alpha pots

    Thanks a lot everyone , ,I wanna get upgrade,yet,looking on ebay,,as someone new to working on guitars , I get confused about what's good American parts,, I can find "genuine epiphone parts" from Hong kong???,,can someone suggest a reasonable upgrade ,with push pull pots,and upgrade the pickups,, I wanted the gibson 57 classic, and classic plus,but at almost $300,just for the pickups,,i's too much,,do they make epiphone 57 classic that's American made??

    If you want to upgrade using cts pots like a Gibson has ,you will have to enlarge the holes

    thanks for your input,,I appreciate it ,, what's your opinion on these alpha pots? this is my PRS SE 245,,, looks the same as the les paul pots,?

    Aloha aren't bad pots generally. I prefer Fender CTS and I think they have them in 500k also.

    I just ordered my Xmas gift,,:) for the PRS = Gibson 57 CLASSIC AND 57 classic plus pickups and grover locking rotomatic tuners,,,I can't wait
