Ok first off I wanna say this is a great pedal and am in no way dissing it.
I'd just like some help with settings and what not.
I just can't seem to get it "dialed in" as everyone says. It sounds good, but not as outstanding as all of the clips that I've heard.
I've got my 62 AVRI strat plugged directly into it, and straight into my TopHat Emplex. The problem is this. I get more of that whow, whow, whow, whow sound coming from my amp than the sound of the actual guitar. Another problem is that when i turn the megavibe's volume up past around 8 I get a loud in and out kind of tweety whistling noise. And also, to my ears, my guitar sounds a whole lot more deep and muddy plugged into the mega than if i was just going straight into my amp. Do I have to make an adjustment inside the actual pedal? I could sure use some help guys. Thanks in advance.

Try running a buffered effect before it then after it to see if the sound changes in any way!

i think he tunes the trimpots before sending. I wouldn't mess with those unless he advises you to. The whistling noise makes me think a transistor is bad. What are you powering it with? With the controls straight up it hsould sound gorgeous with your setup.

    Three suggestions:
1: run a buffered pedal before it
    2: check the internal pot
3: check the powering: it needs 12v DC, "reverse" polarity, at least 400mA available.
And do not loose time to email Kevin to ask...
