Well, the last time I bought a phaser, it was 1975 and I got a small stone. Nice sounding but noisy as hell (sold it in the early 90s).

You you fine folks recommend some good quality (likely boutique) analog phasers that are quite with true by-pass?

    Thanks!

The VFE is great. My favorite is the Maxon PH350 after trying many. But, I also have the VFE for when I need a smaller real estate phaser.

Epic phaser pedal, very musical. Another great one is the Lovetone Doppleganger, you might find one on eBay but it'll cost you.

Well that isn't very punk, is it?
The newest Small Stone isn't noisy, and it is true bypass. Not boutique, but if you ever want something simple you can't go wrong with it.

The Retrosonic is very well made and simple to use.

    Sounds great too.
