That crazy Swede!!! I like that side of him, thanks for posting that Doug!

I wonder when he started using JCM800's, I thought he was a JMP 50 watt dude...but then again, I haven't followed him since the '80's.

I'll bet he's got a Lovepedal COT or some other emulation pedal on that thing.

Per his circa 1988-89 REH instructional video he "strictly" uses 50 watt Marshall JMP 1972-73 MK II NMV. Do you hear Jimi out of his Dimarzio HS-3!! Love that pick up.

I enjoyed the video. His schtick seemed a bit contrived, but he is a monster player and looked like he was having a blast.

ive no time for yngwies music at all , but its consistant that no matter what he plays through, he still sounds like yngwie. i was braced for a up and down scales here we go like i find his own music to be and i gotta thank you for posting a clip that actually shows a musical side to the man and gotta say i enjoyed it, .

    That was amazing!! lol

AS for the Purple Haze video, he sounded way different through the JMP's when I saw him at the Boston G3 a little while back.. WAYYY more middy .. I like the JCM800 tone he was getting more. . With or without Dod pedals! ERIC
