plimsoul vs maxon sd9

I am looking at these two pedals.

I want higher gain into a clean fender amp.

I play fusion and rock.

Anyone have both of these pedals at the same time and can give me a comparison?

I owned a plimsoul it didn't work for me. I own a sd9 and it does. Great Marshall in a box.

I haven't played the newer sd9's with the mids control, but I did have a couple of older ones. They are quite mid scooped. They reminded me of a mid scooped Rat with a big muff style tone control. Cool pedals into amps with enough mids of their own.
