Hi I play a dual recto that can run either 6L6 or EL 34's. Currently very happy with JJ 34s's. My fave amp Ive ever heard was satches modded jcm 800 that i think was runnin kt88's. From what I have just recently read, I think the t verb may be able to run kt 77's? is this true? if so how will the tone be different? i like to run fuzz vibe od chorus flange delay fwiw with strats and cu 24s

KT77s can be used to replace EL34s. Originally they were a British attempt at a beam tube like the American 6L6, 6V6, etc. Sonically, they share some of the qualities of a 6L6 with those of an EL34. To me they have more of a high frequency response than a typical EL34.
