PLZ someone sugest a PICK???

    Somebody must know a SPECIFIC brand and guage to play with a P-bass. I would really like to become comfortable with something! Any quick suggestions? Much appreciated!!!

    dunlop 2mm.

    the black ones.
    use the round end, not the pointy end.
    try it.

    +1 on the round end. More control, better tone and 2 surfaces to wear out.
    2MM is pretty thick, though. Try a few different thicknesses until one feels right for you. I would also recommend Dunlop or a similar premium brand since several of companies have apparently gone to cheapo plastic lately.

    V-Pick big fatty. Great tone, great feel, I love it for guitar, and it's amazing for bass.

    Gator Grip

    the ugly gator colored ones.

    The edge doesn't frey or pit, wear is phenominal.
    and the grip is rough so it doesn't slip.
    No weird rubber or sandpaper grips, just finely rough.
