Po' boy J-45......Slope Shoulder Gibson style

    Looked hard for a Gibson J-45 or the Advanced Jumbo and really had no luck....fit and finish was pretty good .......but seem over braced and tone was somewhat dull.....I know over time they will open up and sound better...but for the money I couldn't see spending that much.

    So,have some time on some PAC rim guitars(China) Blueridge-Morgan Monroe-Recording King......I ordered up a Morgan Monroe Creekside MV-45:

    It was fine right outa the box and though its very impressive and I will say more Martin sounding than Gibson,which isn't a bad thing, It can be better....So I buffed her out....added a pickguard....Buffalo Horn bridge pins and she is ready for a K&K Pure Western Mini install today:
