    Oi,

is there something like an amp that would fit in this bag but still sound decent? I'm looking for something to take with me when I visit my parents.

    The available space is something like 25 * 20 * 20 cm.

    Vintage/tubey is obviously preferred.

    Thanks,

    Johann

maybe not tube tone, but definately fun and cheap....the zinky designed "smokey" amp...about 25 bucks too...like a fuzz box w/ a speaker...runs on a 9v...lasts a while too!

Can't beat the Roland Microcube...It's one of my favorte amps. Threw it into my take-on soft luggage wheelie bag when vacationing in Holland last summer.

as far as pocket is concerned, there is those 'smokey' brand amps that are built into a pack of cigarettes

I have the "Classic" model LovePedal 1/2 watt amp, it's a blast. I used to have a Smokey amp years ago... Cool as well, but not as cool. You could mount a 6" or 8" speaker in that bag you had the picture of and hook it up to the LovePedal or Smokey amp... Or build a micro-cab... I'm pretty sure it will drive most any speaker, but it might blow tiny speakers... Maybe one of those TiVoli things would be good, but that would suck to blow that one... The 1/2 watt amp sounds really good and reproduces several (but not much more) effects pedals put before it. Honestly, it sounds the best straight in and using the guitar's volume knob to control overdrive and to a lesser degree (thankfully), the actual volume of the amp.
