pod xt pro is kinda kewl for recording

    Nice clip, sounds more tubey than the other clip at the bottom of the thread. I liked the minor arp sweeps at the end of the clip, I use that one alot too. How's the plexi coming?

    thank ya - interesting the same amp setting and everything - plexi is coming along just waiting on my transformers :)

    I like the PODxt for it's sounds, but I dislike the way it feels...

    Sure, it´s not "real thing" just toy/bedroom amp to me...

    i use it on the road and have used flextone, pod bean, pod pro and now pod pro xt =plugged in the returns of two marshall 900 half stacks - 1960a cabs

    Nah. Even my ss Marshall head has a better feel than the POD, but for headphone jammin, and noodling with songs on my computer I can't really beat it.

    The Vox stuff is a bit more life like, imo. But they aren't able to cop the same high gain tones as the POD, but they are excellent at the creamy high gain lead type playing.

    I should have gotten a Vox modeler, but oh well. Can't win 'em all..:)

    I also plug my XT into the return of my Marshall DSL, sounds fine most of the time, but every once in awhile I just gotta plug into the Marshall so i can remember the feel of tubes:D :cool: :D
