I guess this is for those who have played most of these amps...if someone just votes for one because they know that one amp, then the poll results get thrown off.

Forget about my needs or music style (so don't put it back in my court)....do it based on your needs/desires/preferences. Think of them as including whatever available mods you need, that are offered by the mfg. If needed assume you have whatever effects you like, and yes, you have power and a guitar, cords, picks, groupies, food,...whatever else you need on that damn island.

Among the listed group, I'd go with the Komet.

The only one I haven't played is the CAE. Oh well, I screwed up your poll. ;)

The Constellation is a very special amp with a unique and complex tone. It's got its own very artful way of responding to one's playing, yet it still manages to sound like a classic amp.

    I have no axe to grind here, I'm a Two-Rock owner/player.

Unusual line up of amps. These are each so different and wonderful at what they do. The Bogner is my least favorite of the line up simply due to it's complete lack of any good clean tones. The OD and the FV are fairly close in type, both having killer cleans but I dig the overdrive of the OD much more. The Komet is in another class altogether and one of my all time favorite amps. If I could vote for both the OD100 and the Connie that would be my choice. They are both at the top of the tone food chain at what they do.

In reference to the Komet Constellation, I'm not sure what you mean by "any mod" as there is only one model of that amp?

I don't kow Tag. The cleans on the FV are pretty nice. Out of the bunch the Komet is most entertaining and sounds good at any setting. Looks coolest too:D

Rather than let you off the hook that easy, I would sentence you to a lifetime on the island with a $69 Esteban acoustic guitar, and the only music you would be allowed to play is old school country western tunes! :D

Thats what you get for being a smart a$$! ;)

BTW.....I would take my Constellation over any of those amps, although I would love to give the Guytron a go (the only one of the bunch I haven't played/owned)!

I think Tag is just disappointed that none of those amps have reverb.

I'd like to cast my vote for the Guytron GT 100 FV. A very wonderful and versitile amp!

That's what I understand as well, but did not want to let my limited knowledge of the amp effect the results...so hey, if there is a mod someone knows of, then great....

    :D

mods must be offered from the same mfg as the amp in this exercise.....

I like your thinking out of the box, however....

    :D

Interesting results so far....The Komet Constellation is kicking some serious butt....is it the african padouk trip, or the bias ports..maybe people on deserted islands don't like using weber bias rites?

Uh... the Constellation does not have bias ports. It's cathode biased. It's all about the tone dude. The Connie just flat smokes period.;)

Merely a momentary lapse of facts..thanks for pointing that out...duh...I was thinking about the K60 and looking for some reason other than the obvious about why the Connie is kicking ass in the poll.

I finally played the Connie in Baton Rouge in april...incredible! Same with the Guytron! Have had good moments with the Bogner, although it's so true about the clean channel...I have not played the CAE OD-100.

Look at the Connie go! As much as everyone has been talking about the CAE OD-100 lately...seems like the connie lovers are coming out of the closet!

    Very interesting.

I'm beginning to wonder if someone is registering multiple identities and going to town on the Connie's behalf, it's so overwhelming.
