I've got the 50w head and am running it through a Port City OS Wave 1x12 with a Warehouse ET65 speaker.

I bought a used HOF mini and am running it as an on most of the time reverb, plugged into the effects loop.

I love this amp. It's a very big clean sound that still stays tight (the baffled design of the cab has a lot to do with that). Excellent pedal platform.

Sounds great at any volume. Kudos to Daniel.

No reverb and it still sounds great.

But with reverb and/or delay, it's beyond the great divide, man.

I have always understood that with the Pearl, placing everything into the front of the amp works perfectly and sounds amazing.

I guess the buffered loop is a plus.

No question that everything sounds good into the front. Everything.

I picked up a used HOF Mini which I keep plugged into the loop for when I want to just plug in. Really nice basic reverb for a great amp. Very convenient.

I use a WET reverb pedal when I have my main board plugged in.
