I'm in the market for a channel-switching 1 x 12 combo with a good clean channel and excellent drive channel. Im looking to spend no more than about $1800. I thought that the Mesa Boogie Stiletto ACE would work but it weighs almost 80 lbs ... ouch!! Anything else that's lighter?

    Hey stratman0602,

Check out the VHT Pitbull 45/12 combo amp. I got one from here for $750.00 used and it has a great clean & dirty tone for a 2 channel amp. :)

    Ding Ding....we have a winnah!

For a light weight 1x12 combo with great OD tones, its pretty damn hard to beat the Budda SD18.

You will not beat a Brownote D'Lite 22:dude When I compared mine to a much more expensive Two Rock Jet, which I originally wanted but was too expensive, it blew it away for tone, on both channels!

Best small lightweight two channel combo for the price I have ever tried or heard in over 35years.:RoCkIn
