Wow. Beautiful job!
I love everything about this one!
Not mine and kind of a smushed up tele but I really like this one.
This one by LSL...not mine, but has inspired a build I’m waiting on
Bunch of great guitars posted here. Here's my contribution:
Not mine just saved the pictures because...well...I thought they were bad ass!
My two. An ‘09 and a ‘10 Am Std. Red has a Kinman Broadcaster set, a 4-way switch, locking tuners, and that Bigsby (mmmmm, yeah!). Duke has a Pearly Gates in the bridge and a Texas Special in the neck, along with a 5-way switch.
How does it sound? weight?
Can I sneak in this Tele Paul?
Gosh, what a beautiful grain on that. Can't say I've ever seen a one more pleasing to the eye. When you add all the other visual elements, this is one bada$$ guitar. Is the top contoured? Looks like it on the upper side, but I can't see how it could be contoured with the flush pickguard like that.
Yes it is a carved top, one piece maple. It now has black rings and Throbak PAFs in it.
Pickguard is actually flying, not flush
A Ron Thorn Masterbuilder Masterpiece
I did a little neck pup tweaking on my @Ron Kirn old blackie today. I switched out the stock set to Don Mare 0038, swapped out to a brass bridge, and flipped the controls (4-way switch). This thing is a beast.
check out the color change. It’s maybe 4 years old now. I figured it’d be the other way around and be whiter under the PG.
Ron Thorn as above with Gt 90 staple PU's
