...or unboring or disboring music vid(s) ---Prime Directive: make sure it's not boring---better yet, that it's got some brains, "imaginatio", and creativitism (inexplicability is good too).

    I'll start w/ an oldie:

    Inexplicable, yet strangely mesmerizing -

I have a soft spot for SGM. They were a really interesting group. Terrific live shows. Not everybody's cup-o, but I dig them rather a lot.

Yeah---I've seen and enjoyed the hell out that before; the bass player always killed me in that...and the notion that such was (mainstream?) entertainment suggests a lovely era when things were wide open to/for so many variegated blossoms...still an anteroom of an oddly sophisticating old weird America prior to the '50s.

Also whenever I watch it I get a feeling that the leader "were getting he some" from "gals" with very finely-toned arms and firm-yet-pliant grips.

Still one of the least boring albums/bands I've ever heard:

+1000 on that. Bungle is anything but boring. Saw them in '90 or '91 at the Axis (or Avalon?). Made the mistake of having my hair down in the pit. Lost full length clumps of it from others arms resting on me and simultaneously being shoved. Can't complain much...my buddy lost a nipple ring. Serves him right...for being a dude with a nipple ring.

Haha! Yep, that's fate doing your buddy a favor. Man, that must have been an amazing show; that was the era (the first album) I found out after the fact that they stopped in my city. Saw them on the Disco Volante and California tours though, still probably the most amazing shows I've ever experienced. It's a shame they can't get along and continue making mind-blowing toons.

Sorry for the temporary thread hijack OP! Here, let me make up for it:

^I miss that Steve Vai. Please come back!
