I think The Beatles Strawberry Fields was one of the first videos that weren't just footage of the band onstage, but that was pre MTV. This was Lennon song finished by the other Beatles after his death, and I thought was pretty cool

This has it all - campy over the top visuals - the amazing track from the equally landmark Lexicon of Love ... a tour de force. If you really want to dig in there is the even more joyfully ridiculous long form movie they made "Mantrap" ...

I'll let that pass. Particularly their earlier, pre-diva George stuff. Young Guns. Loved that song and video.

But Milli Vanilli? Seriously? Classic parody, I guess.

Speaking of....
Once you get past the scandal Milli Vanilli had great pop songs. Always liked this one. Checkout the white Steve Stevens Hamer.


Block Box did the same thing when they didn't let Martha Washington appear in their videos. Martha Washington's voice is glorious.
