I think The Beatles Strawberry Fields was one of the first videos that weren't just footage of the band onstage, but that was pre MTV. This was Lennon song finished by the other Beatles after his death, and I thought was pretty cool

This has it all - campy over the top visuals - the amazing track from the equally landmark Lexicon of Love ... a tour de force. If you really want to dig in there is the even more joyfully ridiculous long form movie they made "Mantrap" ...
