This Stevens Classic has maple cap on a Korina body and neck. The fingerboard is Brazillian Rosewood.

The sound is killer......big, woody, organic, complex

Korina and Brazillian is an amazing combo. I have three that fit the bill....here they are.

The one on the left is Korina with an Indian RW fretboard. It sounds amazing, fat, warm, with just the right amount of bite. The Middle one is my #1 and has been since I purchased it. It is a Korina body and neck with Brazillian board. It absolutely smokes. I don't believe that the IRW/Brazillian difference in these guitars makes the difference in tone but I am at a loss to explain it otherwise. The guitars are identical other than the FB.

The last guitar is a different beast entirely. It is a hollow Korina body and korina neck with Brazillian board and quilted redwood top. It sounds like a Les Paul on steroids.

These are all Nik Huber Dolphins, all are one piece bodies, and the top on the redwood is one piece as well.

Korina and Brazillian kicks ass bro...

wow, beautiful guitar! I would've thought that a maple cap on korina body and neck with bz fb would be a very bright combination.

It has a higher resonant frequency but this is tempered
by the tone chambers within the body giving it a woody and long sustaining quality. It can be bright if you want it to be an the Holmes pickups deliver the full range with excellence.

It is a most fantastic guitar
