1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Alright, this is the thread for me.

#1) 1972 Orange 4x12", all original with Celestion 30s. Here's a shot of it with the Hiwatt cab it kicked out of my space.

#2) Extremely rare 1974 Orange 6x12", all original with CTS square magnet speakers. Sounds huge. IS huge.

1+2=3) Here they are together, crappy cell phone photo at my space. The Orange wall of sound. 10x12", oh yes. Also note orange juice.

#4) Last but not least, Orange AD-5, handwired #054. Very, very cool for recording.

Still on the lookout for an Orange OD80 in decent shape. Not looking very hard, but still.

Unfortunately, I had to sell this a few weeks back to afford my Bad Cat hotcat. Needless to say the Badcat > all :D

I've been considering an Orange of some kind for a long time now but I can never find any at stores to try out. Can't even find any sound clips. :(

You first need a place to upload your picture you have stored on your computer to the internet, for instance: http://www.imageshack.us/

Then when it's uploaded to that site you can use the link of the uploaded picture here with IMG tags.

    Hi Ben,

Meant to reply a while ago and it slipped my mind - sorry.

I love my Retro 50 for the following things:

Big, warm, punchy, kinda raw tone.
Useable master volume down to about 01:00 (making a variety of gig scenarios work well).
    Great build quality.
    Looks cool as f***

I've gigged mine a load and it handles my Les Paul as admirably as my Tele, sounds great with a SunFace, Klon, and many an OD. Well worth a try if you get a chance!

    Chris

PS You can hear a clip of mine in the pedal demos on www.stompbox.de Just head for the clips of the Okko Diablo if you're interested...

    Regards
    Chris

Voodoo Amps V-Plex. You did say orange amps, right? Reverse engineered 1968 plexi Marshall. And I'm forced to sell this beauty--check it out in the Amp Emporium.
