I'm a 37 yr old graphic designer starting work on Tuesday for a new company. I was working for Op (yeah, the cord short company) for 8.5 years before getting laid off when the company was sold.

    And the gear...
    Guitars:
    -Anderson Drop Top Classic (maple/alder)
-James Goodall Standard Cutaway (englemann/brazillian rw)
    -Taylor T5 (maple/sapele?)
    -Baby Taylor

    Rigs:
-Egnater M4 (Randall clean, Top Boost, Plexi, XTC modules), Mesa 20/20, TC Electronic G-system, 2 CAA 1x12 cubes, and a pedal tray (Zvex SHO, Menatone Red Snapper, Xotic BB, Matchless Dirt Box).
    -Mesa Subway Blues combo.
-Line6 POD Xt Live (for late night practice)
    -Atomic Reactor 112

    Pedalboard:
MusicomLab switcher, Voodoo Lab PP2, EB Volume Pedal Jr., Axess BS2 (modded w/boost by Dave Friedman), Xotic RC booster, Keeley Blues Driver, Zvex BOR, Lovepedal COT50, MI Audio Crunch Box, Analogman TS-808 RI Silver Mod, L6 Echo Park, Ibanez DDL, MXR Dyna Comp, Arion SCH-1 (getting rehoused by ToneFreak), Boss Dimension C DC-2. Modded Pedaltrain PT2.

    Cable:
    -2 10' Zaolla
    -Evidence Audio Siren for cabs
-George L's & Bill Lawrence for rack and pedalboard

I'm trying to figure out which dirt pedals to go on the board. I can only fit 3 or 4. Any suggestions?

was about to buy the PRS by working for a summer and coughing up the hard earned cash.

Used a couple gigs worth of money to buy the Bogner, and pretty much the same with most all of my pedals, and george l's and such.

don't really like my parents to purchase my gear for me - gives it an added appreciation when you buy it yourself and take good care of it.

I played in a band for the past 5 years so thats where a good bit of money came from, working full time during the summer and playing a couple times a month can provide some great $$$$$

I'm a self-employed carpet installer. Doing it for 20+ years. Hard work, but good money. I could NEVER do the office/9-5 thing now! The best thing about this is that I get to ask the customers if they have any old guitars they don't want, I found a '62 Silvertone (Dano) with the built-in amp in the case, free, just about a month ago. Still waiting for that 50's Fender or Gibson.

I use either an '05 EJ Strat or an '07 R0 into my main amp, a Swart Super Space Tone 30 w/2x12 Greenback G12M's. In between there's usually a Fulltone Clyde wah, Keeley comp, Maxon AD-999 analog delay, and a RC Booster.

I have a Les Paul Standard with a Bareknuckle P90 in the neck and a Bareknuckle humbucker in the bridge. It's playing through a Cornford Harlequin sometimes using an EHX Holy Grail. I have a Koll Tornado on order, which I'm very excited about.

I am the head of ecommerce for a major UK retail chain.

Sold the green one to Procos when I got this one. Both of these will be sold when my custom ordered LDO and MOD (and clean boost!) arrive, but who knows when.

I teach music history at the local community college, play gigs and teach guitar lessons.

Gear is in a state of flux, as I'm working on getting everything I want/need. What I have right now that's staying:

    Amps
Valvetech Hayseed 30 combo w/ Celestion Blue and G12H-30
    66' Fender Pro Reverb
18 Watt clone head built into a blues Jr. chassis
Electro tremolo amp, turned into tweed Princeton clone
Fender Princeton Recording amp on the way (just won the ebay auction)
    1x12 Cab with Celestion G12H-30
Avatar 2x12 Cab with Celestion Heritage G12H-65s.
Marshall 4x12 with 75 watters (on loan, but if it stays permanently, I'll change speakers)

    Guitars
    69' Gibson ES175
    70's Lawsuit goldtop Les Paul
Parts strat with spruce body/maple neck
Parts strat with USACG alder body and brazilian board maple neck
Parts tele with Ash body/maple neck, mini hum in neck position
Parts tele with spruce body/ USACG brazilian board maple neck
    Larrivee D03 acoustic
    Liberty Resonator guitar
    Tokai P bass copy

    Effects
    Boss SD1
    Boss GE7
    Boss DD20
    Keeley modded Boss Blues Driver
    Voodoo Sparkle Drive
    Voodoo Chorus
    Voodoo Tremolo
    Colorsound Wah
    MXR Phase 90
    MXR Dynacomp
    Danelectro Echo

I plan on building two more amp heads, a Dumble style and an Express style amp and I'll have all the amp tones I want covered. One or two more guitars, either a 335 or PRS, off in the future as I get more money saved. I wrote out my goals/needs/wants and figured out that I don't need doubles of everything, so I'm just trying to get one of each style amp and guitar, with the exception of my partsocasters - I can't bring myself to sell any of them at the moment, even though I could do with just one strat and one tele.

...zhivago--is that digital graphics or are you fine-arts graphics (as in freehand drawing, illustrations, etc.)?

...not many people have original Fender XII's...I had one back '68-'70 but sold it to a buddy who was really into James Taylors "Fire & Rain" type songs.

As for my occupation i am a full time student here at Berklee College of Music.
I worked 50 hours a week every summer in high school as well as every weekend in high school to get all the gear because my parents think im nuts spending so much money. They dont help out ever, and i kinda like that i worked to get the stuff myself and didnt get any handouts
I also gig pretty often, and i might be going on tour this summer with a band called Frank Viele and the Manahattan Project.
