Thanks...it's really a sweet player and sounds great too. As quickly as I go through gear I think this one's gonna stay with me for a while.

I have determined that this is a very difficult color to photograph. It is an awesome guitar, the color just kills. ;) Should have cleaned it up a bit too.

You're right. I have a Daphne Blue Mel that I just can't really get a good picture of.

Here is a link to mine.... my fave guitar I have ever owned!

http://www.guitars.net.au/gallery/main.php?g2_view=core:ShowItem&g2_itemId=46

2001 Carve-top Standard..... normaly I don't go for real binding.... but thought it suited her so well!! If you look ver closely you can see that the quilt forms a perfect circle... right where teh soundhole would be if she was acoustic.... I love quirks like that... Isn't Mother Nature great!!!

If you are unhappy with your strat, then sell it to upgrade. If you think your strat's pretty cool, then try to keep it.

You can probably get a Suhr like mine for about $1600. used. Just take your time, make sure all the specs are what you want and watch the guitar emporium, ebay and Suhr's forum. A lot of them come up for sale. If you have the cash and are ready to buy, it'll be easy to snag the right one off the emporium when it comes up for sale.
