Had to paste together a wide angle. Both the G3 and the GR-55 go to the mixer and are sent to the aux bus. The aux bus feeds the RC-50 loop station and the output of the RC-50 goes back to the mixer, then to the PA (which is a stereo power and regular Yamaha home stereo speakers).

I send the "guitar out" (it's a separate output. the normal output goes to the mixer) of the GR-55 to the pedalboard. The guitar out can be programmed to send the guitar pups or the hex pickup to the pedalboard. When using the hex pickups I can simulate various guitars and change the tuning, add octaves, etc... I can program a control switch on the GR-55 to switch pretty much anything.

OK fly don't take this personal, cause I don't know for sure. I'm just making a point.

The RC-50 probably has a tuner, the GR probably has one, I know the M-5 does, and so does the G3.

It's funny how almost everyone (me included) has a tuner on their pedalboard :huh................................. Oh yea, my planet waves just quit working.

It sort of got left over from all the changes. Mainly because it's on all the time, which the other tuners can't really do.

No pics of my G3 board at the moment, but I wasn't really impressed with the accuracy of the tuner. It's very fidgety and reminds me of those cheap digital Korgs. Plus it's annoying having to hold the button down for 4 seconds to mute. That's really my only complaint with the G3, but for now the Polytune stays on my board, crowded though it may be (using a PT mini). If I ever 'need' space for another pedal I'll probably just rely on a Snark.

Cool board. I own one G3 and my very first thought after using it awhile is that it would be super cool to use one for comps/drives in front of the amp and one for mods/delays/verbs in the loop. Basically, that's exactly how I've always set up my analog pedalboards, in 4CM, so pretty cool. It's a neat little pedal and sounds great. Personally, I have zero problem with the tuner and find it works great for me.
