Can anyone point me to a third party amp for a Kemper lunchbox? The type that fits into the back of the Kemper not a stand alone !

I saw a video on the "camplifier" but its a European company and when I tried to email them I got an error message of some sort.

    any US company or distributer?

    Thanks

Have you thought of a Powerhead trade?

Not interested in trades at this time. Plus I don't need 600 watts!

    I'm sure there are alternatives.

Go to the Kemper forum. There are at least 2-options, one of them being the Camplifier.

    Hey sugarlou,

an aftermarket retrofit is the way I decided to go in order to use my Dragoon 2x12". While my main rig is 1-2 CLRs, I enjoy the possibility to use my trusty guitar cab at times, and to travel with just a 25-kg rig (guitar included).

I did no way want to spend 4-500 € for an amp, and I too felt that 50-70 W is more than enough with my 102 dB cab.

I'm currently using an Ambrosi Amps ATM-68. Have a look at my signature for more info.

Are you 100% against simple standalones? You could check out the crate power block. Super convenient little power amp with a backpack that weighs nothing.

My friend has a power block. I thought about giving it a whirl and will but ultimately I'm all about simplicity and having less to carry and less to wire and power! These gigs don't pay so well!

I'm looking to drop the KPA on a single 12 cab and play

There's a guy on the Kemper forum that had some brackets made for the ISP Stealth. I currently use the same power amp but mine is the newer version where the volume knob is on the front. He sells them cheap. In going to order a set to try out. If they don't work right, I'm only out $20. I will jus rack my power amp and Furman at that point. At least my power for stage will be consistent and I won't have to fight for outlets.

If you dont play too loud you can always velcro a EHX .44 Magnum to the back of your KPA...
