Powering Kingsley Harlot

Hi all,

I use the isolated power supply provided by Simon to power my Harlot. He responded with how it'd be possible to use my PP2+, but being unversed in the nuances of power supplies it confused me a bit. His reply is below:

"You can use any 9VDC, center negative @500mA or
above. However, very few multi outlet supplies are capable of 500
mA from a single output. The Voodoo Labs PP2+ has two 250mA
outputs that can be combined in parallel however to get the
required 500mA. There are others that can do it from a single
output, like the True Tone One Spot Pro and the Strymon Ojai.

If you have a PP2+ you can of course use the courtesy outlet
also...

You don't want to use 12VDC, as the required 9VDC is stepped up
inside the pedal to 240VDC already."

Does this mean I combine two of the 9v outlets?

Cheers.

Yes. Combine the two high current 250ma outlets on your PP2+ to get 500ma, enough to power the Harlot.

But.. Make sure you use a CURRENT doubler cable, NOT a voltage doubler. A current doubler cable will give you 9v 500ma, awesome. A voltage doubler cable will give you 18v and may permanently damage your Harlot pedal - seriously.
