Any word yet on who is doing the actual building of the pedals?
Seems like a no-brainer that this would’ve been known out of the gate, eh?
The fact that it still needs clarified says quite a bit about the operation.
Their FB page says they just shipped a Yardbox to Australia.
My friend in the Marshall Islands just received his Experience, so things appear to be going smoothly...
Huh, that's kinda weird. Their FB says they're only shipping the COB (which I ordered and haven't gotten a shipping notice for) and the Yardbox, but not yet the Experience. I can't remember if they're still made here in Portland, though.
That’s promising! Thank you!
Jack, if/when my pedal arrives, I promise to update this thread. You do same? Fingers crossed for both of us...
I guess for completeness I'll mention here that I ordered on May 18th.
Didn't sound like it from the last convoluted statement I read.
Here it is:
I don't know what they specifically mean by "trend."
Oh yes, that's right. I even remember now wondering about that usage as well.
Well, I have other nice pedals.
At this point, I'd venture to say that Jack likely has little to nothing to do with the current production, and this is just a revival of the name and aesthetic. I can't confirm it, but vague answers are vague.
I may have already posted, I can't remember. I've been on a buying spree for the older stuff, and I've ended up with 4 of the original pedals - I'd like more - I'm a sucker for great fuzzes. Anyway, if the new company gets up and makes the new stuff like the older stuff I'm 'in'. Otherwise, I can't say. PE was (is?) one of my favorite builders. Period.
Lol this reminds me of that one joke site where you could "download" ram lol.
EDIT: found it! https://downloadmoreram.com/
The market's seemed volatile because of this new venture, I bet a person could get some good deals right now.
I don’t get why everyone is so stinking suspicious - if I ask where a product is being made I usually expect to get a ham-handed history on where the namesake used to be made once upon a time and other vagary.
I think "suspicion" is many people's default setting at this point.
Plus, Teddy from MusicToyz is involved.
Plus, for a newly relaunched company, there's not much info available about 'em.
Was fully being sarcastic - I think this whole thing has dumpster fire written all over it.
Difficult to tell these days.
People seem to be making excuses for more and more outlandish behaviors as time progresses (or regresses?).
Totally fair, no worries!
